Shay Mitchell had a wardrobe malfunction on “Live with Kelly and Michael” on Monday. Check out the video below.
As Gossip Cop reported earlier, Mitchell was the guest co-host on this morning’s broadcast. She filled in for Kelly Ripa, who was on a pre-scheduled vacation day to celebrate her 20th wedding anniversary. The “Pretty Little Liars” star was booked to sub-in a while back to promote her new movie Mother’s Day.
But while Mitchell admitted to having nerves before the show, she probably wasn’t expecting to have a fashion mishap during the live broadcast. As documented on Instagram, one of the straps on the actress’ Ganni blouse broke as she and Strahan interviewed guest Donnie Wahlberg. During the commercial break, several of the show’s stylists had to come on stage to sew the strap back on to the rest of the outfit.
“No big deal,” Mitchell joked. “My strap just could’ve come off on live television. Popped right off!” Strahan amusingly admitted that he didn’t know what he or Wahlberg would’ve done had anything actually become visible.
Mitchell’s appearance on the talk show comes three and a half months after “PLL” co-star Lucy Hale was a guest. As Gossip Cop reported at the time, the actress actually ate bugs during one of her segments. Maybe Mitchell would’ve preferred that to the wardrobe malfunction? Watch below.
